Article: Your step-by-step guide to finding an internship abroad
Edvoy is a study abroad platform that helps international students study abroad. I wrote this article to guide students who were also looking to secure an internship while overseas.
Student spotlight: Interview article
Another article I wrote for Edvoy, the study abroad platform. For this piece, I interviewed a student who had used the Edvoy platform and was studying abroad, highlighting his journey.
Technical: How laser tattoo removal works
Cloak & Dagger provide tattoos and tattoo removal. I was asked to write about how laser tattoo removal works. This required deep research and turning something complex into an easy-to-read piece.
Article: 5 crucial steps to perfect your Instagram profile
Moken is a design agency and I was asked to come up with a series of blogs. I took a popular subject and turned it into a practical and engaging piece.
Infographic: A visual guide to your business financial statement
The Business Backer provides business financing. I wrote the content for this infographic, visualising what a financial statement looks like, increasing its appeal and engagement.
Infographic: One cow describes 8 business models
Another infographic that seems simple but took some thinking. I had to use one cow to describe different business models which ended up with a fun and engaging piece.
Concept: Ancient ruins reconstructed
I came up with the concept for this content marketing piece for Expedia US. It received over 270 links. It reconstructed ancient ruins to what they looked like in their prime.
Concept: The Simpon’s home in popular architectural styles
Possibly one of my favourite pieces where I came up with this unique concept. I wanted to show different architectural styles but use a reference point everyone would recognise. It was featured on Apartment Therapy, Wired, Arch Daily, and more.
Concept and project: Pothole capital of the UK
I came up with the concept and oversaw the creation of this project to show which councils in England had received the most claims for compensation for potholes. It was featured on Yahoo, AOL, and local press sites.
Concept & Script: Dundee on a student budget
Another piece for Edvoy where I came up with the concept and wrote the script for this YouTube video. We wanted a video to appeal to international students and knew money was a big concern. It’s received over 30,000 views.
